What CloudBox is
CloudBox is a mobile app for iOS that brings the cloud storage accounts you already own into one place. Instead of opening the Google Drive app, then OneDrive, then Dropbox to hunt for a file, you connect each account once and CloudBox presents them as a single, searchable library.
It is a client app, not a storage provider. CloudBox never becomes another place your files live — it reads the accounts you connect, and any file you move or upload travels directly between your device and your own cloud account.
How CloudBox uses your Google account data
If you connect a Google Drive account, CloudBox requests access through Google's official OAuth 2.0 consent screen and uses that access for exactly these purposes:
- Show your files. Read file and folder names, sizes, types and dates so your Drive appears in the unified library alongside your other accounts.
- Show your storage. Read the storage quota on the account so CloudBox can display how full it is and include it in your total.
- Find duplicates. Compare file metadata across your connected accounts to identify copies of the same file, so you can reclaim space.
- Open and upload files you choose. Read a file's contents when you preview or download it, and create files when you upload.
- Label the account. Read the account's email address so you can tell multiple Google accounts apart in the interface.
CloudBox does not store your Google Drive files on its servers, does not use your data for advertising, and does not use it to train AI models. Full detail, including the exact OAuth scopes, is in the Google API Services disclosure.

What is CloudBox?
CloudBox is an iOS app that connects the cloud storage accounts you already own — Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox and network drives — and shows them as one library. Does CloudBox store my files on its own servers?
No. CloudBox connects directly from your device to each provider using their official APIs. Files transfer between your device and your own cloud accounts. We do not upload, copy or store your file contents on any CloudBox server.
How does CloudBox access my Google Drive?
Through Google's official OAuth 2.0 sign-in. You grant access on Google's own consent screen, and the token is stored in the iOS Keychain on your device. You can revoke access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Full detail is in our Google API disclosure.
Which cloud providers are supported?
At launch: Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, Dropbox, and network storage (NAS) over standard protocols. More providers will follow based on what people ask for.
Is CloudBox free?
CloudBox launches with a free tier for connecting accounts and browsing your unified library. Bulk duplicate cleaning and smart upload rules come with a paid upgrade. Final pricing will be published before launch.
Is deleting a duplicate safe?
Nothing is removed without you seeing it first. CloudBox groups the copies, marks the one worth keeping, and waits for you to confirm. Deletions act on your real accounts, so they follow each provider's own trash or recycle-bin policy afterwards.
